Canmore Synthetic Bagpipe Bags

The CANMORE® Pipe Bag is a technically advanced fabric pipe bag which is based on a specially developed GORE-TEX® membrane from W.L Gore and Associates (UK) Ltd.

Initially developed in 1987 with consultation provided by Bob Shepherd MBE from RT Shepherd and Son Ltd, the CANMORE® Pipe Bag became the first ever synthetic pipe bag on the market, a concept that would later be copied by several other manufacturers who saw the benefits of a pick up and play anytime pipe bag.

The pipe bag has been designed to provide the best features of more traditional sheepskin and hide bags while eliminating their major drawbacks. The features offered by the CANMORE® pipe bag include:

Made from the original Technically advance GORE-TEX® fabric. This bag comes with 4 collars and zip for easy access to inside the bag. The bag comes supplied with a jubilee clip, O ring, tape, zip lubricant and a moisture tube for those who prefer to use this set up.
